Our aim with this is to teach the true and clear doctrine as preached by the Advent Pioneers, culminating in the 1888 message. This is not a call out of any organisation or “brand” of Adventism (though sometimes this may be the end result), but rather a call to stand on the platform of truth.

Let us start by saying, the Dress Reform is a very small part of a very big picture, however, those who claim to know the big picture and ignore this, do so at their own peril.
So what is the real question? We are really asking, does God’s standard of modesty change with the fashion of the era? I think we can safely say no. ”Malachi 3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not;”
It can be a difficult thing in this day and age to be as God would have us be, but does this mean we should compromise on God’s standard? This is what Ellen White has to say on the subject of dress:
Many who profess to believe the Testimonies live in neglect of the light given. The dress reform is treated by some with great indifference and by others with contempt, because there is a cross attached to it. For this cross I thank God. It is just what we need to distinguish and separate God’s commandment-keeping people from the world. The dress reform answers to us as did the ribbon of blue to ancient Israel. The proud, and those who have no love for sacred truth, which will separate them from the world, will show it by their works. God in His providence has given us the light upon health reform, that we may understand it in all its bearings, follow the light it brings, and by rightly relating ourselves to life have health that we may glorify God and be a blessing to others. {3T 171.1}
So what is the dress reform? More to the point, what is God’s standard? Rather than post quotes showing you what you need to do in a Pharisaical manner, I prefer to give links to sermons which cover many of the issues relating to the dress reform, and putting them in context with the gospel.
