Flesh was never the best food; but its use is now doubly objectionable, since disease in animals is so rapidly increasing. Those who use flesh foods little know what they are eating. Often if they could see the animals when living and know the quality of the meat they eat, they would turn from it with loathing. CCh 229.2
The liability to take disease is increased tenfold by meat eating.
Let the diet reform be progressive. Let the people be taught how to prepare food without the use of milk or butter. Tell them that the time will soon come when there will be no safety in using eggs, milk, cream, or butter, because disease in animals is increasing in proportion to the increase of wickedness among men. The Conquer Series is an expertly crafted series to help men overcome sin of all kinds, but particularly the elephant in the room in all churches: sexual addiction. It may surprise some to know that 68% of evangelical males regularly view pornography. Another stat states that 90% of conservative males regularly view pornography. The church has failed these men, but not for the reasons you may think.
Shouldn’t conservative males be better at overcoming sin? Actually, when you understand how addiction works, then you will understand it is a problem the church cannot solve in its current state, and will only continue to make worse by preaching condemnation on these sins, as is generally the case in the conservative Christian denominations.
Christ said “For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” John 3:17.
Clearly sexual sin of any kind isn’t a part of God’s plan, but knowing that won’t help people overcome any addiction. Generally deep down, they all know their sin is wrong, and feel completely condemned by it. So is there a way out? There certainly is. This series gives men the tools to overcome this and pretty much any other sin. This is the latest yearly update “food as Medicine”, shows all the most significant studies of 2015/2014, on how to stay healthy. Significantly, he covers omega 3s and the importance of DHA in your diet (a spoiler, DHA is available in fish free versions – google “ovega 3s”). Well worth a watch… very important for anyone who wants to live a long, healthy life.

What is the best type of water? clean water (note this guy mentions distilled water as the best, but in later articles he has retracted that. Distilled water is good for detoxing, but in the long term it isn’t the best)
